Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has been rewarded for the good start to his career in North London after the England national team invitee was named as part of an eight-man nominees’ list for the Premier League Player of the Month Award as far as October 2021 is concerned.
Arsenal skipper Pierre-EmerickAubameyang has a very good home form in the Premier League this season. The Gabonese striker made it four goals in four starts at the Emirates Stadium in the league this term with one of the goals to help the Gunners end their poor record against Aston Villa.
The Gunners had lost their last three games against Villa in the league before the two teams met for the first time this season and Aubameyang was on target as hosts Arsenal saw off Villa via a 3-1 scoreline.

German shot stopper Bernd Leno has been made available for sale ahead of the January transfer window after losing his place as the first choice Arsenal goalkeeper to summer signing Aaron Ramsdale. This is according to the report from Eurosport which stated that the Gunners are keen to sell the 29-year-old goalkeeper who would have one year left on his Arsenal contract next summer.
Leno has been the first choice Arsenal goalkeeper for the past few seasons but his place became threatened when the Gunners paid an initial fee of £24m to sign England national team shot stopper Ramsdale from Sheffield United who were relegated from the Premier League last season.

As the end of the summer transfer window approached, it continues to look highly unlikely that Arsenal will be signing any more players. The Gunners have already signed five players this summer and were also able to convince their prized asset Emile Smith-Rowe to put pen to paper on a new contract which will see him continue his career at the north London club for years to come but Arsenal fans still think that’s not enough. Arsenal have signed Sambi Lokonga, Nuno Tavares, Ben White, Aaron Ramsdale, and Martin Odegaard all in this summer as they try to prove to their fans that they are now set to please them and add some firepower to their squad.

It was reported some days ago that English Premier League side Arsenal were interested in signing a striker and that they had set their sights on striking a deal with Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan for the signing of their forward Lautaro Martinez. The Argentina international striker has been linked with an exit from the San Siro amid reports that the club are currently in a financial crisis and need to sell players to raise funds and avoid going into liquidation. The Italian Serie A Champions have already sanctioned the sale of star striker Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea and were also said to be willing to listen to offers for Martinez but that seems to have changed

Arsenal have made Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale their number one target this summer in their bid to sign a goalkeeper and they have been told to pay £32m for him. English publication The Times revealed that the Gunners have been quoted £32m as the transfer fee required to prise the shot stopper away from his club.
Newcastle United have continued to push forward in their attempts to convince Arsenal in letting go of their youngster Joe Willock this summer. The 21-year-old spent last season at St James’ Park and had an excellent campaign as he was in the form of his life for the Tyneside club. Willock was in such great form that he ended the last Premier League season by scoring in seven consecutive games, setting a record, and also doing so while playing most of the games coming on as a second-half substitute.

The highly anticipated Tokyo Olympics has continued to draw nearer gradually and the participating countries have already started preparing for the tournament by sending call-plus and invitations to the players they want to represent them at the 2020 edition of the tournament which will hold later this year. The Tokyo 2020 Olympics was originally scheduled to hold last year but was moved to this year following the huge impact made by the outburst of the coronavirus pandemic especially during the beginning of last year.
Arsenal have been told by Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid that if they want to get midfielder Martin Odegaard, they should be prepared to let go of Emile Smith-Rowe in return, according to reports coming from various sources. Odegaard’s fantastic season at Arsenal last season has made the London club establish a serious interest in signing the Norwegian international midfielder on a permanent basis. Their quest to sign the 23-year-old has made them open talks with Madrid over a possible transfer since before the end of the last season, but both clubs have not been able to reach an agreement.
It is expected to be a long summer for Premier League club Arsenal who have lined up a summer rebuild that will see them let go of a couple of players and have also planned to sign their replacements. However, they are in a very precarious situation at the moment and will find it very hard to attract their first-choice transfer targets this summer because they have missed the chance to participate in the UEFA Champions League next season.
